Burkina Faso picks Nations Cup stars for Eagles’ friendly

Burkina Faso Coach, Paolo Duarte has chosen most of the stars that took the West Africans to the bronze medal at the Gabon 2017 African Nations Cup for camping in preparation for their international friendly games against the Super Eagles and Morocco.

Burkina Faso will meet Morocco on March 24 and Nigeria on March 27 in London.

Among the Nations Cup stars in the squad are Aristide Bance, goalkeeper Herve Koffi, Predjuce Nakoulma, Charles Kabore, Bertrand Traore, Yacouba Coulibaly, Bayala Cyrille and Razak Traore.

The new comers to the team are Patterson Kaboré (CD Eldense), Dylan Ouédraogo (Monaco), Abdul Meyker Yabré (Vibonese), Stéphane Aziz Ki (Omonia Nicosia), Anthony Koura (Nancy) and Abdoul Gafar Sirima (Baltika Kaliningrad).

Two of the players, Sawadogo Aboubacar and Coulibaly Yacouba are home-based; eight are based in Africa, while 17 are European-based professionals.

In the squad are Sanou Moussa Germain (Beauvais, France), Koffi Kouakou Hervé (ASEC, Ivory Coast), Sawadogo Aboubacar (RCK, Burkina Faso), Kaboré Patterson (CD Eldense, Spain), Ouédraogo Dylan (AS Monaco U19, France), Paro Issouf (Santos, South Africa), Malo Patrick Arnaud (Smouha, Egypt), Dayo Issoufou (RC Berkanec, Morocco), Coulibaly Yacouba (RCB, Burkina Faso), Yago Steeve Farid (Toulouse FC, France), Abdou Razack Traoré (Kardemir Karabukspor, Turkey), Saré Bakary (Moreirense, Portugal), Touré Ibrahim Blati (Omonia Nicosia, Cyprus), Guira Adama (RC lens, France), Kaboré Charles (Krasnodar, Russia), Traoré Sibiri Alain (Kayserispor, Turkey), and Yabré Abdul Meyker (Vibonese, Italy).
