ABUJA- SENATE President Bukola Saraki will tomorrow read to his colleagues at plenary, the letter from President Muhammadu Buhari to the Senate, intimating the lawmakers that he has resumed his functions as the President of the country.
Vanguard gathered that letter dated 13th March and addressed to the Senate President, indicates that he resumed yesterday, Monday, after his vacation.
The letter is titled, ” Resumption of Office”
The letter which was personally signed by the President read in full, ” In compliance with Section 145 of the 1999 Constitution( as Amended), I write to intimate the Senate that I have resumed my functions as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with effect from Monday, 13th, March, 2017, after my vacation
