Sunil Grover (born March 8, 1978) is an Indian actor, comedian and stand-up comedian. He has acted in many comedy shows, but became very popular by his known TV character, Gutthi, which he claims to be created by him. His most famous character to date has been Dr. Mashoor Gulati, Rinku bhabhi from the Kapil Sharma Show.

He was discovered during his college days by the late satirist Jaspal Bhatti. He has also acted in India’s first Silent comedy show, SAB TV’s Gutur Gu in the initial 26 episodes.

He was with Kapil in the stand up comedy show Comedy Nights with Kapil and became immensely popular playing comical character, Gutthi. He left the popular show for sometime and later again made an entry with the new character as the father-in-law to the show’s lead Kapil Sharma.

Sunil Grover along with Manish Paul had also done a comedy show on Star Plus, titled Mad in India but his charm as Chutki could not attract the attention of the audience. The show came to an end soon and he finally stepped back to his old show with Kapil.

He has been appreciated for his versatile acting abilities which fits him into any character he plays. He has also been known for his ability to mimicry various Bollywood actors. Kya Aap Panchvi Fail Champu Hain was the best part of his mimicry as he not only copied Shahrukh Khan’s voice but also acted like him.

Currently he is a part of The Kapil Sharma Show where his characters “Dr. Mashoor Gulati” and “Rinku Bhabhi” have become very famous.

As a versatile actor, Sunil has also made a debut in a Punjab film Vaisakhi List in 2016 with Jimmy Shergill.
