Wenger Out campaign goes Stateside

ARSENAL fans have been far from quiet in their protests against under-fire boss Arsene Wenger – but now it has made it to the other side of the world.

The Arsene Wenger Out campaign has gone Stateside after a disgruntled Arsenal fan held up banner at an MLS game 4,000 miles away from the Emirates.

Despite the driving snow at the TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis for Minnesota’s first ever MLS home game, the supporter braved the cold to make his feelings known about the long-serving Frenchman.

His banner said simply “Wenger Out” with a picture of his face – although it is unclear why he was not focused on the MLS game in front of him in the snow.

Over this side of the pond, angry Gunners fans held their second protest in as many games before their 5-0 thrashing of Lincoln in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Much like for their humiliating 5-1 defeat against Bayern Munich in the Champions League last week, fans marched through the streets in their droves from their former Highbury home to the Emirates with an array of posters and signs.
