All is now set for the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, to host a gathering of corporate personalities in London, the United Kingdom.

London-based Babatunde Loye Foundation is putting up the corporate and awards dinner in honour of Oba Ogunwusi this month. Speaking recently on the event, Loye, Chairman of Central Association of Nigerians in the UK, noted that the Ooni has expressed interest and readiness for the event, while emphasising the importance of the occasion in promoting business opportunities in Nigeria and raising the living condition of the black race.

Oba Ogunwusi said: “I’m reaching out to Nigerian professionals in the Diaspora that cut across the UK and the entire black race for a corporate dinner as part of my visit to the UK for business and investment opportunities in Nigeria and the entire Africa under the auspices of Foundation.

“This is for us to join hands together to chart a positive course to better the living condition of the black race and our dear country, Nigeria, in particular.”

Loye, however, added that the occasion would provide opportunities for profound deliberations and exchange of links on business and investment, adding: “It would also be a platform to honour and appreciate those impacting our world in several positive ways.”

The event, holding at the exquisite JW Marriot Hotel in West London and managed by a UK’s leading events management firm, Kiskirine Events, would have in attendance captains of industry, accomplished entrepreneurs and top diplomats, including Nigeria’s Acting High Commissioner to the UK, Mr. Simon Ogah.
