Okowa, while addressing the 2016 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Corps members at their swearing-in ceremony, said they were in the camp to undergo an orientation programme to put them in the best frame of mind for their future challenges, and implored them to imbibe all the lessons they will be taught and put them in use.
The governor disclosed that the renovation of the camp became necessary to allay fear of the unknown, especially the fear of reptiles and other dangerous animals, adding that the contractor had been sufficiently mobilized to complete the job on specification.
Represented by the State Commissioner for Higher Education, Engr. Jude Senebe, the governor urged the corps’ members to take the training in the camp serious, as it would enhance their productivity as capable adults to contribute meaningfully to the sustainable development of the country.
