Shocking new details about Tonto Dikeh’s marital crisis has just hit the internet.

The news coming from Ghana police this time, says Tonto Dikeh, during a very violent fight at her husband, Churchill’s Trasaaco estate in Ghana, destroyed $15,000 worth of property and waved a gun at one of Churchill’s bodyguards who tried to stop her from breaking the properties.

This was because she claimed her husband was cheating on her.

You recall, Tonto had just a few days ago, revealed in a tell-all interview that her baby’s father and estranged husband Olakunle Churchill cheated and abused her while they were still together.

Asempa News in Ghana has released a video which shows a man identified as Supt. Joseph Oppong, Crime Officer at the Madina Divisional Police reading a statement allegedly written by Churchill during one of his fights with Tonto in Ghana.

Oppong says they received a call to Churchill’s Trasaaco estate in Ghana where they went in to find Tonto Dikeh in a rage, destroying items in the house because she claimed her husband was cheating on her.

Oppong said before they arrived, she had destroyed $15,000 worth of items and they had to restrain her adding that she had even waved a gun at one of Churchill’s bodyguards who tried to stop her from breaking the properties.

Combining four blood pressure drugs into a single pill could be twice as effective as existing treatments, researchers have found.

In a breakthrough trial, every patient given the four-in-one ‘quadpill’ saw their blood pressure drop to healthy levels within a month.

And because each drug is included in much lower doses than in conventional tablets, experts believe the combined medication will minimise side-effects.

The results of the small pilot trial, published in the Lancet medical journal last night, could offer a new approach for the hundreds of thousands in the United Kingdom (U.K.) who take daily tablets for their blood pressure.

High blood pressure – or hypertension – affects more than 17million Britons, or one adult in three.

The condition vastly increases the risk of heart attacks, strokes and vascular dementia but, because it has no symptoms often until it is too late, only half of people even know they are at risk.

Of those who have been diagnosed, hundreds of thousands take daily pills to control their blood pressure. But they normally take just one drug – and only about half of patients see their blood pressure fall to a healthy level.

The new study saw a 100 per cent success rate. However, the researchers from the George Institute at Sydney University stressed that only 18 patients took part in the trial. Further research is needed to see if the results can be repeated, they said, but these initial findings are very exciting.

Study author Professor Clara Chow told DailyMailUK: “Most people receive one medicine at a normal dose but that only controls blood pressure about half the time. In this small trial blood pressure control was achieved for everyone. Trials will now test whether this can be repeated and maintained long-term.”

The study involved giving patients a single capsule containing a quarter-dose of each of four common blood pressure drugs – irbesartan, amlodipine, hydrochlorothiazide and atenolol.

Researchers believe reducing the dose of each drug minimises the risk of side-effects, which can include swollen ankles and kidney abnormalities.

Even though the dose of each drug was lower, combining them increased their impact.

Chow said: “Minimising side-effects is important for long-term treatments – we didn’t see any issues in this trial, as you would hope with very low-dose therapy, but this is the area where more long-term research is most needed.

Chance the Rapper on Sunday won three Grammys including Best New Artist, validating the rapid rise of the hip-hop star who has released his music only through streaming.

The rapper, who has been open about his Christianity, told the televised gala: “I claim the victory in the name of the Lord.”

“I know people think that independence means you do it by yourself, but independence means freedom,” Chance said as he pointed to members of his team.

The 23-year-old rapper from Chicago, whose real name is Chancelor Bennett, won Best New Artist in a field that included electronica crowd-pleasers The Chainsmokers and experimental hip-hop artist Anderson .Paak.

He also won Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Album, going up against A-listers including his mentor Kanye West and chart-topper Drake.

“Coloring Book,” Chance’s mixtape released last year, incorporated gospel choir music and lyrically touched on his faith.

Chance the Rapper benefited from a change in Grammy rules this year to consider streaming-only releases. He did not sell “Coloring Book” as a CD or as downloads, saying he considered himself a touring artist.

“Coloring Book” nonetheless entered the top 10 on the US albums chart, the first for a streaming exclusive, as Chance promoted the work through an active social media campaign.

The mixtape featured appearances by top stars including West, a fellow Chicago rapper who was his early inspiration, and Justin Bieber.

Chance the Rapper has also used his rising platform to be an activist.

He has pleaded for an end to Chicago’s gun violence epidemic, waging a campaign similar to an album promotion that was credited with helping make May 23 a day without deadly shootings in the Midwestern metropolis.

He took up the anti-violence cause in collaboration with his father Ken Williams-Bennett, who has served as an aide to former president Barack Obama and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

“I am a fan of GEJ because he was a Democrat and pushed for peace and Unity but I was angry with him when the fuel price was increased without taking into consideration the masses and the way it was introduced without informing people. I condemned the move and protested against the price hike. I was not happy with him because it was a failing of the government to respond to the needs of the people and cushion the effect of rampant poverty.

“The occupy Nigeria movement humiliated the government and made Gej reduce the price. Although it didn’t go back to 65 Naira but our voices and activities against an unpopular decision made the government listen. That’s what protest can do. I did not sit back because I was a massive GEJ fan or friend of Pdp rather it was my duty to whip the government back to shape to fulfill it’s promise to the people and stop impoverishing them. That is what citizens must do to make their leaders accountable whether you support them or not. Government officials derive their powers from the people and it’s the people that would force them to conform.

Now another occupy Nigeria is in front of us with the 2face backed rally on February 6th. With GEJ it was about the fuel hike and corruption in high places. With Buhari I don’t even know where to start. Is it the hypocrisy of his anti corruption crusade or the lack of foresight on how to move the country forward? Is it the prevailing hunger killing everybody or a government that continues to destroy the economy but satisfies itself with blames and excuses? Buhari’s economic sins are endless and it’s making Gej’s occupy Nigeria look like child’s play.

This February 6th rally is long over due and if you are a true patriot it’s necessary to come out enmass to let your voices be heard. It matters not if you are a Pdp or Apc supporter. Your wallet and stomach knows no party.

Your generator and car fuel tank knows no party. Your kitchen gas or stove knows no party. The forex exchange that did not pass N215 since 1960 but has shot up to N500 in 18months under Buhari knows no party. It affects all of us whether yoruba, Ibo, hausa, ijaw, urhobo, fulani, efik etc.

The more you keep quiet and support a government that does not care the more the economy weakens because Buhari has not seen the anger and hunger affecting us. He increased fuel to 145 from 97 Naira but we kept quiet. Price of diesel has shot up 200% but we kept quiet. Forex increased from 215 to 300 but we kept quiet. It increased from 300 to 400 but we kept quiet. It has increased to 500 but some people are still saying I stand with Buhari.
At what point in time would you sit down with Buhari? Is it when your family is starving and you are begging for crumbs with the forex at 1000 to a dollar? Right now the economy is stagnant but no reprieve anywhere.

Cost of living has increased but salaries have remained the same. If you run a business your cost of maintaining that business has increased 1000% fold but you are generating the same 2015 income or less. If you are working for a company, you work harder but your salary has remained the same since 2015 but your daily expenses has shot up 1000%. Where we put on this earth to suffer and stagnate or to move forward? Let’s not talk about the millions that have been sacked because Oga cannot pay salaries or bills anymore. Has Buhari thought of how these people are surviving without any help or assistance?

That’s why people had to run to MMM to survive. If there was progress economically would millions of people throw their savings into it. This government does not give a rat ass about anybody. You are on your own.
